Hey Realms Community!

Exciting news from the development front – I'm crafting an epic update for Realms! 🌟 Realms 2.0 will be a new (but similar) version of the game. This is a thematic and rules upgrade.

What's in the Forge?

• 🎉 Up to 3-5 Players (TBC): Now enjoy the magic of Realms with even more friends! The game will be updated to play with more than 2 players whilst still keeping it a great solo game.
• 💡 Token System: A fresh approach to the current interaction points system, players will gather tokens whenever they do something great in the game. They can then use those tokens to get out of any scrapes they get into (and to help their fellow players).
• 📜 Thematic Prompts: Immerse yourself deeper with richer narrative elements; each country should feel even more distinct than they are now.
• 🕹️ Minigames: To help specialise each country, every country will have its own custom mini-game using dice or cards. One of the first I've been developing is an item-creation game where you hunt for resources and craft unique items over a few chapters of play. 
• 🪄 New Archetype: Introducing the Scholar, a new archetype that uses a new encounter stat based on knowledge, research, and insight.

As I’ve already started, I thought it would be a good idea to give you all a peek at something, so I’ve attached the potential new version of the character sheet, some sketches I've drawn of the species in Etria, and a description of how interaction tokens work (link here). Stay tuned for more sneak peeks and development insights. For now, the release date is TBD, but I'm hoping for a summer release of the core book and at least one roll book.
